Lord of the Rings Video and Computer Games
There are two official game licenses for the Lord of the Rings video games: Electronic Arts (EA) has the license for games based on the movie (so they get to mold their graphics to match the movie locations and characters, plus use the movie music and character voices).
Vivendi Universal has the license for the Lord of the Rings game based on the books - so their graphics and characters will look a little different, but include details missing from the movies. Both companies are putting out some great products.
